Craig Minch

Freelance Visual Designer & Consultant

Craig MinchBorn and raised in the great state of Ohio, I give thanks to Kent State University's Visual Communication Design Program for my formal design training and education.

I have been honing my design and markup skills in the professional world since 1999. I got my start in the agency/consulting environment and worked my way up the chain before branching out on my own in 2006. I've been supporting, practicing and advocating web standards while building W3C compliant XHTML and CSS since its inception. While most of my work is in pixels, I do enjoy branding and print projects too.

I live and work 25 minutes west of downtown Cleveland in Avon Lake, Ohio. In late 2006 I completed my self-proclaimed "super deluxe" home office project. The view is great and the commute is brisk. The best part is lunch meetings with my wife Erin and our two children, Avery and Alex.

My off-the-clock time is spent with family, playing soccer, coaching soccer, skateboarding and talking shop with the Cleveland Web Standards Association and the Cleveland chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA). I'm currently the U6 & U7 Girls Micro Director in the Avon Lake Soccer Organization.
