Craig Minch

Visual Designer + champion of user experience righteousness

Craig MinchBorn and raised in the great state of Ohio, Craig gives thanks to Kent State University's Visual Communication Design Program for his formal design training and education.

Craig has been honing his design and markup skills in the professional world since 1999. A by-product of the browser wars, Craig learned and unlearned the art of table-based layouts. Since his enlightening in early 2003, he's been supporting, practicing and advocating web standards while building W3C compliant XHTML and CSS. Known more for his adept 72dpi design skills, it's not uncommon to witness Craig cook up high-res delectables for traditional print projects as well.

He lives and works 25 minutes west of downtown Cleveland in Avon Lake, Ohio. In late 2006 Craig completed his self-proclaimed "super deluxe" home office project. "The view is great and the commute is brisk" says Craig. He enjoys occasional lunch meetings with his wife Erin and their two children, Avery and Alex.

Off the clock time is spent with his family, autocrossing, talking shop with the Cleveland Web Standards Association, skateboarding, playing soccer, coaching rec soccer, walking the dog, or gluing heads back on princess dolls.
