The Cleveland Clinic is recognized as one of the nation's top hospitals, and ranked No. 1 in heart care by U.S. News & World Report. With a misson of putting patients first, it makes sense that they'd handle the delicate task of revising their main navigation bar and integrating their MyChart service with great caution.
Vince Frantz of Frantz Information Design led the research and planning phases of the project. His annotated wireframes were used as a blueprint for my visual design contributions. I designed several different states of the MyChart login box. It is an anchored object on the home page and is contained in a fly-out menu on subsequent inside pages and sections.
The new navigation bar needed to house various types of content, navigation and search functions. I worked closely with the Cleveland Clinic's internal design team and followed their corporate brand standards and guidelines to design a new navigation bar and fly-out menu system that looks like it has been apart of the website all along.
