During the summer of 2007 the Web Marketing team at National City hired me to put some finishing touches on an online promotion that coincided with the upcoming NFL football season. The marketing team got a late go ahead from the NFL to proceed with a points promotion targeting 3 separate NFL team markets. The promotion included the Cincinnati Bengals, the St. Louis Rams and the Cleveland Browns and tied National City's existing points campaign into the total points scored at the end of the season.
Each team needed a custom landing page for signing up entrants and showcasing scoreboard data as the season progresssed. Points customers could enter for free by using the custom form designed and built into each page.
The landing pages were launched on time, promoted at home football games, updated weekly and successfully introduced thousands of football fans to points from National City.
